Okay, so pretty soon my blog will have a new name. The “mommy nine times” just isn’t working for me anymore. It hasn’t for a while now, but I’m finally doing something about it.
Why the change? Well for one thing if we are to be factual, I am the mother of ten, not nine (one little one in Heaven, remember) and so to honor that little one I just want to do away with the “nine” word all together. So that’s one reason for the change.
The other reason is that if one day we do add on to our family, well…obviously the “nine” thing won’t work, anyway. So I wanted to name my blog something that has no number limitation.
But before I continue on, let me just say this: NO, I am not pregnant!
(just wanted to get that out of the way, because I know where your mind was going with that)
Okay, so I’ve been racking my brains trying to figure out a name that would be perfect for me. There were so many that I thought of, but none of them seemed right or sounded right or even felt right. It was hard. I almost gave up. I’ve been trying to come up with a new blog name for months now. Really, it’s been that long. Months! And just when I was about to call it quits…
I looked to my right sidebar where my children are listed….and there it was. I don’t know why it never occurred to me before. It’s been there all along as one of my divider titles:
They All Call Me Mom
It’s the perfect name. Those five words really say it all. This blog is about my kids, my life, my family….and everyone in this family calls me mom. Heck, even my husband calls me mom.
“Hi guys! Where’s Mom?”
“Go tell Mom dinner is ready.”
“Is this your mess…or Mom’s?”
LOL.
So there you have it.
My new URL is: www.theyallcallmemom.com but for now the old URL will redirect you. I’m not too sure how long that will last, though…so if you have my blog “saved” anywhere, you need to change the URL address or in the future you might not find me! Gasp! And that wouldn’t be good. I’d miss you! and you’d miss me! It would be a tragedy!
Oh, and yea…. it’s .com now — not blogspot.com
Yep, I have my own domain.

I love it. I think it is amazing that we completely lose our identity to a point but for such a fabulous cause- nothing is sweeter than the word “mom”
