Front Yard Fun

February 18, 2011

My kids would spend all day out in our front yard if they could.  Unfortunately for us, we live on a street where neighborhood cars tend to speed down, and I just can’t trust them out front unless I’m out there, too, watching out for their safety.
One of their favorite things to do is ride the skateboard down the hill.  It’s not a very steep hill — our street is pretty flat, actually — but it has just enough tilt to it to get the kids going pretty fast.
A.J. and Aislynn like to ride double.  I stand by, knowing they are going to tip over, but I just make sure they wear their helmets…and I keep my fingers crossed!

A.J. loves to ride his new motor scooter.  Well, he doesn’t just ride it normal, like you would think.  Oh, no.  He has to jump and do all these tricks that just about give me a heart attack.

And here’s Andrew’s stunt:  he likes to get down really low while riding the motor scooter.  This is as daring as he gets on this thing.  But hey, not bad for a four-year-old!

And Aria?  Well, she’s just happy scooting along on her little scoot toy!  Thank goodness she’s not a Dare Devil — not yet, at least!

I still have a couple more Arbonne RE9 anti-aging samples to give away,
so if you want one, be sure to send me an email asap.

Ah, I would love to sit on your porch and watch them play. I adore children–mine are grown and no grandkids. I imagine you go thru a lot of bandaids.

I’m stopping by from Simply Blogging University to check out your rolling blog buttons! Looks great–the larger ones do get cut off, unfortunate.

I love the design of your blog–it is very inviting and restful.
