Alex, age 10
me: What is your favorite color?
Alex: blue
me: How many kids do you want to have when you grow up?
Alex: A lot. I think 5, 6, or 7 or something like that.
me: What is your wife going to look like?
Alex: Her hair… in between blonde and brown. Her eyes… brown
me: Is she tall or short?
Alex: My height.
me: Does she work?
Alex: No. She’s a stay-at-home mom.
me: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Alex: A professional soccer player, and then a builder.
me: Who is your favorite sibling?
Alex: girl… Avery — boy… Tony
me: Tell me one word that describes your mom.
Alex: Spectacular!
me: Tell me one word that describes your dad.
Alex: Busy. Well, actually, “busy” could have been either one of you.
me: Tell me one word that describes Alex.
Alex: Awesome!
me: What is your favorite body part on yourself?
Alex: My left foot because not many people are left footed for soccer.
I LOVE THIS!! Tell that boy the crazy lady up the street is left footed too!
Great idea! I’m going to inteview my kids this weekend. (Although the youngest is only a year and a half, so not sure how much he will have to say…) I usually write “birthday letters” to each of my kids on their bday, but this is also super cute!
Very cool! I am going to steal this idea! What a good way to get to know your kids a little better. He sounds like he is not just awesome – but ‘totally awesome’!
