In keeping with our quest to find new and different beaches this summer, we happened upon this one last week…
To get down to this beach there were about a bazillion stairs. Yes, you read that right. A bazillion. Believe me, I counted. They started out as cement steps with metal railings, and I thought, okay…no biggie! We can do this! But then the farther we got down, they turned into wooden stairs with wooden railings.
ME to KIDS: “Do not let your *hands slide down the railings! I did not bring my tweezers with me!”
*no hands were hurt and/or damaged during this beach adventure
Yes, we descended quite a few stairs, to say the least! But with a view like this keeping us going — well, wouldn’t you have made the trip?
I’ll have you know that not one of the kids complained about the walk down.
The walk up was a different story!
This beach was perfect! Unlike our barely any beach at all small beach, this one had plenty of sand.
And I could comment on every single one of the photos. But I’m not going to. They pretty much speak for themselves.

Group shot!
Notice that two in this photo aren’t ones who call me mom?
Yep, we had to “extras” along with us. Always happy to have extras
and my two most favorite photos taken on this day, both of Avery
There were so many cool shots of this day at the beach that I had a hard time choosing which ones to post! Sorry about the photo-overload

wow that beach is amazing! i would walk down those stairs and back up to swim there. i was showing my husband these pics and he asked where you lived and my mind went blank. if you remember, shoot me an email and let me know the location of this beach. i love it!
afton driving? and an iphone? crazy!! i can’t even imagine tanner at that age.
every time i think of how i have to buy all 3 kids new shoes or school supplies, i think of you. how do you do it? what do you do with all your clothes and shoes that no longer fit. obviously you save them for siblings but you must have thousands of shoes waiting for aria and andrew.
your grandmother is beautiful. i would miss her too, she sounds like she was amazing.
love your updates!
