It’s happening! Finally. Aria’s “Toddler” bed is being built! Yes, I know she’s no longer a “toddler” at almost three and a half, but I’m trying not to focus on that. Better late than never, right? I figure she will have about two years in this little bed – maybe even a bit longer, just depends on how tall she gets.
I wanted it high like that so we can store all of her toys under it. Her “bedroom” is the small retreat room off of our master bedroom, and it doesn’t have much space, and of course no closet. So I had to get creative. There will be a curtain around the bed to hide all of her “stuff” so that it won’t be visible from the outside. That will help to make her room look neat and tidy.
Rich and Tony are doing this project together. Aria knows that they are building this bed for her, and she is proudly saying, “Daddy and Tony are make’n my bed! And I’m gonna ‘sweep’ in it!” (she still has trouble with her “L” sounds)
Meanwhile, as she waits for her bed to be completed….
Aria has been spending some time on the computer. She enjoys the computer games that her sisters play. I am amazed at how well she maneuvers the “mouse” around. She knows exactly where she wants it to go, and she “clicks” just where she’s supposed to. Amazing.
