Here we are
at the beginning of January
and while in some areas across the United States
the weather is bitter cold, wet, and even freezing
the weather here where we live
is a pleasantly warm 78 degrees.
It’s almost not fair, right?

Oh, I just found your blog (from a comment you left on Erin’s) and I am loving it. I have to say, I have been glued to the screen reading your ‘brain injury’ story. I sure hope you write part 2. =)

We’ve had our first little bit of snow, and my kids have been frolicking in it like maniacs. They waited so long this year! Like most Easterners, I enjoy all the seasons. Summer is treasured for the sun and heat, Fall for it’s beauty and crisp, clean air. Winter for it snappy winds and beautiful, fun snow…and the blessed Spring, when the snow fades away, that amazing scent is in the air, flowers start to pop and the promise of summer just around the bend… I love it all!

Woke up to snow this morning. I love the snow, but people here really (I mean really) can not drive in it AT ALL! If we get more then an inch they close the roads. Probably best.
I love your photos…

Pretty! It was nice here last week, but it’s back to the 30’s this week.

I love that there is no snow here, yet I want it to snow so badly. Santa brought my little one a sled and it is just waiting to be used.

We finally had our first snow in Michigan overnight and our kids are SUPER excited! I like the sunshine but I also like fall and winter…and spring too!
