So it’s the end of the month already and I only posted a few times this month. Time is getting away from me each day. I thought I’d have more time now that the kids are in school, but that hasn’t been the case. Why is it always that way? Where dos the time go? It’s crazy.
Afton came home for two days this month. It was wonderful to have her home. I have missed her like crazy! We also went to her college last Saturday, Rich and I, for her sorority’s “parent tailgate party” and that was fun. Of course I was the ONLY one toting an infant around at a college tailgate party.
Afton’s like, “Hmm. Mom toting an infant at my college tailgate party. Not cool.”
Aiden is almost 5 months old now but I never posted his 4 month old picture, so here it is. Better late than never, right?
I got this alphabet block photo idea from my blogging friend Heather over at The Spohrs are Multiplying. She does this photo each month for her babies. Such a cute idea!
Anyway, Aiden will be 5 months old on November 3rd which is coming up in just a few more days, so you’ll be seeing another photo update of him soon. I’m looking at this photo of him at 4 months and he doesn’t look all that different now- maybe a little more long in the face and a little less chubby.
Guess who turned FOURTEEN?
That would be my Alex. October is his birthday month, and at 14 he is now well into his teenage years. Fourteen! I made him a special candy cake. This kid and his candy, I swear. It’s a miracle his teeth haven’t fallen out by now. He loves sour candy (just like me) and so I coated his cake with some of his favorites.
Aria made him a special Birthday Crown. Aren’t little sisters the best?!!!
And big brothers who buy you books for your birthday….they are the best, too!
And baby brothers who only drool on you for your birthday…they are pretty cool, too!
Another best: home made birthday cakes!
Happy Birthday, Alex!
Tomorrow is Halloween!
Outrageously cute kids in costumes coming soon!

How are our boys already five months old? This is going way too fast.
I LOVE how much your kids love each other. They are so sweet.

This is one of my favorite posts. In fact all your posts are so great! Happy Birthday to Alex! What a great smile and nice demeanor he has, it shows through in the pictures. Sorry you’ve been having a hard time with your daughter being gone, I can imagine how hard that would be.
