Happy New Year!

When a new year starts, it’s common to start new things and aspire to new goals. Well, this new year my family is starting something new: A YouTube channel. That’s right. We are going there.

Now, I have no idea how often we will add a new video because it takes time to edit and all that. And I have a hard enough time getting a new blog post out, let alone compiling videos and editing. But we are going to give it a try!

So here is our very first (and so far our only) YouTube video! Alex is the one who did the editing, and I think for his first time he did a pretty good job! When you view it, you can “like” it (thumbs up) and you can leave a comment, and you can subscribe to our YouTube channel!!  PLEASE SUBSCRIBE to our channel!! If you subscribe, then you will get notifications whenever we upload a new video!

I plan on doing a lot of family things in our videos, as well as a few tips and stuff on how to run a large family without losing your mind. It should be….interesting. Definitely a new challenge for me, and something that I am going out of my comfort zone to do, because I hate the sound of my own voice and I am not comfortable being in front of the camera. In this particular video, I am doing all the recording so you only hear my voice. But in other videos, you will actually see me, and I’m not going to get all fancy or done up because who has time for that. It’s just going to be the real me; messy hair, no make-up, whatever state I’m in at the time. Because if I’m going to do this, I’m going to keep it real. Kind of like my blog. I like to be real. I think moms especially appreciate it when other moms keep it real. I know I do.
